Guided Wine Tasting: Yakima Valley AVA
The Yakima Valley AVA is the oldest and most varied in the state. It contains three other AVAs within it. A wide variety of varietals grow well there, which is a bit unusual in the world of wine. Harvest will have started at this date. We will explore ?crush? at modest sized estate producers, (Wineries that grow their own grapes), and some specialty producers. This trip to the vineyards will include tours of the following beautiful facilities, where you meet some of the state's best viticulturists and taste some of the end product! Gilbert Cellar's Hackett Ranch Owen Roe Treveri Cellars A box lunch and bottled water are included; bringing snacks is encouraged. There are two convenient pick up locations for both Yakima and Ellensburg residents (please see link for exact locations).
