This peaceful, relatively flat hike follows Cooper River to Cooper Lake. 3.5 miles one way, Hikers will be guided along a beautiful trail that will take them through old growth forest with bursts of wildflowers. Along the way, there is plenty of opportunity to view the river and enjoy and learn about the many species of birds and wildlife that thrive in this area. The trail ends at the crystal clear mountain lake, and hikers will be shuttled back to CWU. This is a great hike for beginners or families with children.
