Introduction to cross country skiing

New to cross country skiing and want some help starting out? This class will give you the basic skills necessary to comfortably ski on flat or slightly hilly terrain. On-snow classes will demonstrate skill progression as well as explain how to dress properly for skiing and the different types of skis available. Skis, boots and poles will be provided. Please dress in warm, non-cotton clothing, gloves and hat. Bring at least 1 liter of water and a snack. Skis, boots, and poles will be provided. Please note that students will need to be sized for equipment at Mountain High Sports the week before class during business hours at the student?s leisure with confirmation of enrollment or may come one hour prior to class the day of to be sized.
