The Third Annual, Third Friday Lunch and Lecture Series kicks off at the Kittitas County Historical Museum on October 20th. The first in the series will feature Fennelle Miller, who will present ''From Footpaths to Freeways: Exploring Transportation Routes in Kittitas County.'' Fennelle will be taking the audience members back in time, by discussing Native American foot trails from 5,000 years ago, to horse trails 200 years ago. Then she will illustrate the movements to the first wagon roads and ferries, to the first Territorial and county roads in the late 1800's all the way through our current interstate system. The lecture will include historic photographs and identify several historic sites or locations that can still be seen in Kittitas County.
