Knitting Know-How
This course will focus on the fiber art of knitting. Step-by-step lessons will allow students to create hats and scarfs and gain the skills to create wonderful items that can be kept or given as gifts. This class will also set the foundation for much more complex projects such as lacework and Afghans. Additionally, intermediate information such as how to navigate popular pattern sites and how different fibers react to knitting will be covered. Please bring the following materials on the first day of class: 1. One skein (ball) of Supersaver Redheart Yarn 2. One skein of Redheart soft 3. A pair of size 8 knitting needles (straight not circular). 4. Yarn needle. 5. Size F crochet hook. These items are available at Fred Meyer & other general stores.

Central Washington University SURC room 140. Class meets every other Wednesday evenings except during Spring Break- March 25th= no class. Class will continue april 1st.
