Live Music at Punch! "Tyler berd" Playing Indie Folk
Open 12-5pm Saturday, May 16 with "Tyler berd" playing indie-folk + storytelling on the Punch Stage 3-5pm. In the Punch Gallery, join us for the continuation of "Friends of PLAYA" a multi-disciplinary exhibition of works by friends new and old who have shared in the experience of PLAYA, an artist retreat Center in south-central Oregon.
Portland, OR's Tyler berd fronts the band bellwire and has toured his solo act around the country, performing sad, funny songs on a nylon-string guitar. His solo act is sly and surreal, and owes a lot to Neil Young, Jonathan Richman, and the poetry of Charles Simic.
"Crafty inventive songs infused with humor, wit and absurdity" - La Crosse Tribune
"Troubadour folk meets introspective bedroom pop in a collision of styles and expectations." - Independent Clauses
