Living in Sacred Space: A Forum on Spirituality and Land Use
Please join the Museum of Culture & Environment as we honor the closing of our popular exhibit Sacred Spaces with a forum that explores spirituality and land use in Central Washington. Featured are speakers Sharron Connor of the Colville-Okanogan Band, Rex Buck III of the Wanapum Band of Priest Rapids, and Shane Scott with the Central Washington Archaeological Survey. Learn about the difference between European and Native views on sacred space, the spiritual importance of petroglyphs, and the public's responsibilities when viewing sacred sites.
