March 2011 Chamber Business Luncheon
Formed in 1904, the Association of Washington Business is Washington's oldest and largest statewide business association. AWB serves as both the state's chamber of commerce and the manufacturing and technology association, and is one of two chambers in the country accredited with distinction by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
As an organization, AWB has built a solid record of success in the legislative and regulatory arenas. Recent achievements include regulatory reform, tax incentives and reduction that help attract - and retain - business investment in Washington state, and policy changes that encourage state agencies to become more efficient and customer-friendly.
Don will cover issues facing our business community and Washington businesses, including:
- Session Review of the Issues
- How the issues in the Legislature affect business
- Where do we go from here?
- What can we do?
AWB is Washington state's premier advocate for the business community. Please join us for this informative luncheon.
Please RSVP to tami@kittitascountychamber.com or 509-925-2002 by Friday, March 18th, if you can join us. A no-host luncheon will be available for $10 per person. You can also register online by visiting the Chamber's event calendar at http://www.kittitascountychamber.com/events/,
