Maria Newman at CWU

Award-winning composer Maria Newman, cousin of Emmy, Grammy and Academy Award winner Randy Newman, will join Scott Hosfeld to work with music students of the CWU Music Department October 12-15. During that time, they will provide workshops for composition and string students as well as perform two free concerts of Newman?s music on Sunday, October 12 at 4:00 and Wednesday, October 15 at 7:00 in the Music Building Recital Hall.
