For our April installment of First Friday dances with Open Country Joy at Raw Space, we are thrilled to be hosting Seattle's McTuff featuring Skerik.

McTuff is one of the headliners at the 2011 Jazz in the Valley festival, and they will blow you away. Joe Doria, Andy Coe, and D'Vonne Lewis come together to create a powerful and jaw-dropping take on a soul jazz trio like you've never heard.

McTuff will be joined by Skerik, the legendary Seattle tenor saxophonist. Equally at home playing anything from bebop to heavy metal, Skerik has worked and toured with countless great musicians including Roger Waters, Fred Wesley, Les Claypool, and many more.

Opening up the show are local favorites Open Country Joy, their interesting take on "country funk" will get you moving on the dance floor!

Raw Space is a preforming arts venue in the Historic District of Downtown Ellensburg.

Newly renovated after a history as the original brick post office for Ellensburg, Raw Space provides a much needed music and entertainment venue to the Ellensburg community and Central Washington.
