Nancy L. Cohen is a best-selling author, historian and leading national expert on women and American politics. She will be speaking about the current political climate before the national election on Nov. 8 of this year. Her non-partisan talk, free and open to the public, will be held in the Student Union and Recreation Center Theatre on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. Cohen will also discuss the historical significance of America’s first woman as a presidential candidate representing one of the two, traditional major parties. In her presentation, she will speculate what it would mean in America to have a feminist woman as a president.
