Take your knitting skills to the next level! This intermediate class on the fiber art of knitting will feature step-by-step lessons on how to create more complex knitting projects such as lacework, blankets, sweaters or socks. Students will learn expert information on swatches, gussets, and bead work and will be given the foundation to make many small, detailed and beautiful knitting projects. Please bring the following materials on the first day of class: 1. 120-150 yards 4 ply (fingering) wool 2. (1) 3.5 mm circular needle (US 4) long enough for magic loop (32 in) OR (2) 3.5 mm circular needle (US 4) 24-26 in 3. 140 size 6 glass beads 4. Tapestry needle for weaving in ends 5. (2) locking stitch markers 6. (1) size 0 to 3 crochet hook. These items are available at Fred Meyer & other general stores.
