Non-Traditional Student Movie Night: The Lego Movie
As part of their celebration of non-traditional students, the CWU Center for Diversity and Social Justice (CDSJ) is offering a free screening of ?The Lego Movie? exclusively for non-trad students and their families Thursday, April 30 at 6 p.m. in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Theatre. Preceding the movie, at 5:30 p.m., attendees will have a special opportunity to have a copy of ?The Lego Book? signed by their favorite Lego characters, who will also be in attendance. Students over the age of 25 are considered non-traditional, representing those who have not taken the traditional path of a 4-year college program directly out of high school. Whether they are returning to college after a leave of absence or entering for the first time from the military, the workforce or elsewhere, non-traditional students represent a significant amount of the student population at CWU.
