Preserving the Past for Future Enjoyment Date: April 7 Time: 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Where: Olmstead Place State Park >>>Bus leaves at 10 a.m. | Meet at the SURC East Patio >>>T-Shirt Registration Deadline: March 29 Partnering with Washington State Parks, the CWU Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE) is kicking off Earth month with the Olmstead Spring Cleanup. One of the first homesteads in the Kittitas Valley, Olmstead is an extensive farm that continues to provide insight into the past through barns, equipment, and other artifacts. This year, volunteers will help with some small maintenance projects to further uphold the valley's historic attraction. This is a great way to make a difference and learn about our community's past. Free lunch and a T-Shirt are included in registration, need we say more? Register online at the CWU CLCE or stop by SURC 256.
