An after-hours evening at the Ellensburg Public Library for teens and adults to share their own original poetry. Please call (509) 962-7218 to sign up for your individual time slot. Time slots may be available that evening also, but are not guaranteed.

Special guest poet Elizabeth Maurer
Elizabeth Maurer's poetry has been published in Boston Literary Magazine. Her poetry is well-known locally for its rich evocation of human feelings: love, loss, anger, faith; all that's most important in our emotional lives. Her poetic wisdom derives in part from her 14 years as a professional psychologist. Elizabeth teaches poetry & bookmaking to local students and runs an after school writers group for youth. She lives with her husband, also a poet, and their dog, Sombra.
