Painting Fast & Loose: An oil painting workshop experience at Cave B Inn

Painting Fast and Loose - The Northwest Landscape in Oil: Painting Workshop with Ruth Stromswold Presented in conjunction with Moses Lake Museum & Art Center Level: Beginning oil painting students (5 years of painting experience or less). Course will be limited to 8 students Painting is easy, seeing is difficult.... With an emphasis on expressive painting, this plein aire (in the fresh air), oil painting class will focus on the ability to paint quickly and accurately. Strong attention will be paid to composition, simplification of shapes, creating strong focal points and balancing color. Evening lectures will include stimulating discussions and instruction. A list of supplies will be provided upon registration for the workshop.
