''Pecos Bill and the Ghost Stampede''

CWU Theatre Ensemble comes to life with the production of ''Pecos Bill and the Ghost Stampede'' by Eric Goble. The first American cowboy comes to life right here in Rodeo City before touring throughout the region in Central Theatre Ensemble's annual Youth Theatre Tour. The larger-than-life legend is credited with inventing the first rodeo, the first round up, and the first cattle drive. Orphaned on the banks of the Pecos River in Texas, Bill was raised by coyotes, carried a whip made from a rattlesnake, rode a bolt of lightening, and courted a girl while bouncing her around the moon. Audiences will delight in this legend of a wholly American character who is larger than life, fantastically brave and endlessly creative. Suitable for all ages.
