Preserving Your Family's Treasures Community Workshop
Eager to learn how to preserve your family's irreplaceable papers and photographs? Wish to learn about scanning and digitization? Interested in learning how your family's history aligns with the community cultural heritage? Join us for this free community workshop at the Roslyn Public Library presented by the Central Washington University Archives and Special Collections! Bring up to 10 papers and photos to have scanned. Each attendee will be given a preservation kit as well as a flash drive of their scanned items. With written consent, copies of scans may be given to the CWU Archives and Special Collections to preserve in their repository as part of local history. Event is free but an RSVP is required. Email archive@cwu.edu or call 509-963-1717 to reserve your place. This community workshop has been made possible in part by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities: Common Heritage. Any views, findings, conclusions, or recommendations expressed in this workshop do not necessarily represent those of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
