National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, observed every October, was created to ensure every American has the resources they need be safer and more secure online. The keynote speaker for this event will be threat hunter, Kellon Benson. Kellon began IT work at CWUs Help Desk as a student and shortly after became an intern in the Information Security Department. Soon Kellon was a full-time security analyst where responsibilities included DFIR, network security monitoring, risk assessment and security reviews, security awareness training, and security provisioning. Currently, Kellon works on behalf of Atos as a threat hunter for major organization.
