Restorative Discipline workshop
Restorative discipline practice encourages a shift from a punishment form of discipline to repairing harms, accountability, acknowledging trauma, including everyone affected, and restoring relationships.
The Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) of Yakima and Kittitas Counties is hosting a two-day workshop in Ellensburg to provide hands-on practice for educators, administrators, faith leaders, families, and anyone working with youth.
The workshop will be Friday and Saturday, January 19 and 20.
Considering this first one an investment in the community, the DRC is providing it far below cost: $30 per person. Clock hours are available.
