Silent Candlelight Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and in honor of the victims who have suffered or currently suffer at the hands of domestic partners, the Center for Diversity and Social Justice (CDSJ) invite you to join them for a Silent Candlelight Walk on Wednesday, Oct. 21. This event is free and open to the public. The group will meet at the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Pit and will depart at 5 p.m., following a route through the CWU campus and Downtown Ellensburg that will terminate back at the SURC. Following the Silent Walk, the group will assemble at 7 p.m. for a reception and presentation in SURC room 137A/B. For more information, please contact the CDSJ at 509-963-2127 or diversity@cwu.edu.
