In spectacular fashion, the CWU Society of Physics Students club is spearheading a Savvy Science Spectacle extravaganza full of fun, excitement and science Friday, Dec. 5 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Hertz Hall room 100. This lab demonstration competition between the Society of Physics Students, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry and Geology clubs will feature many different demonstrations including volcanic eruptions, fire demos, minor explosions and some nitrogen fun, all of which showcase each particular club’s strengths and areas of expertise.
This free event is open to the public, and free parking will be available in lot H-6 and O-5, just north of Hertz Hall on the CWU campus. There will also be free refreshments available during the intermission.
