Stop Kiss
Central Theatre Ensemble at Central Washington University presents ?Stop Kiss,? by Diana Son. The play follows the relationship of Callie, a seasoned New Yorker, and Sara, a St. Louis girl new to the big city. An unlikely friendship between the two develops into an unexpected, and unspoken, attraction. Their first tentative kiss leads to a shocking act of violence. Playwright Son presents the story with a shifting timeline of past and present that allows the story to slowly unfold in a manner that is at once heartbreaking and comic. ?Stop Kiss? performs Nov. 5-7 and 12-15 at 7 p.m. Adult language and themes; intended for mature audiences.
