Summer Pony Camp

The Ellensburg Parks & Recreation Department and Tom El Welsh Ponies invite you to attend a safe and educational PONY CAMP.  The camps are being held at 14 Carrot Farm.  Youth, ages 3 and up, are being offered the opportunity to learn horsemanship through the use of games and directed activities.

Liz Lasell-McCos, instructor, is an active horse owner, breeder and trainer with over 35 years experience.  Ms. Liz is a certified teacher, Livestock Master and 4-H leader.

All campers are REQUIRED to wear boots or hard-soled, enclosed-toe shoes with a heel.  They will need suitable riding pants (breeches, tights, jodhpurs.sweat pants or losse fitting jeans).  All riders will be provided with an ASTM certified riding helmet to wear.  We suggest that campers bring sunscreen, hat, gloves (garden or thin) and a water bottle.
