The Artist in Business Checklist with Bitsy Bidwell
Free Workshop for Artists Working in All Disciplines Did you realize that usually 60% of an artist?s time is spent on business affairs, and not on making art? This workshop runs through the responsibilities that an artist faces as a business person, from copyright to contracts, taxes to marketing. A full workbook contains further resources that can add the details to the many topics explored in this workshop. * * * * * Bitsy Bidwell manages the Community Arts Development Program for the Washington State Arts Commission. With over 30 years of experience in the field, she is particularly known for her sense of humor in teaching, facilitating, and consulting about the ups and down of nonprofit cultural management.
