The Mask You Live In movie screening
To bring awareness surrounding society’s narrow view of masculinity, the Center for Diversity and Social Justice (CDSJ) is screening the feature documentary “The Mask You Live In” Tuesday, May 26 at 6:30 p.m. in Dean Hall 103. This event is free and open to the public and will include free pizza and refreshments.
Directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, this riveting documentary explores America’s fascination with masculinity and the harm it causes to boys and men in society at large. The film asks the question of what can be done to correct these issues to make a better cultural surrounding.
