The Pearl Diver
Central Theatre Ensemble at Central Washington University presents a staged reading of a new play for children based on a 15th century Japanese fairy tale. ?The Pearl Diver? by CWU Professor Elise Forier will be presented Oct. 23 and 24 at 7 p.m. in Hertz Auditorium. The daughter of a samurai warrior must use her wits and skill as a diver to prove the innocence of her father who is wrongly imprisoned. This premiere presentation is free and open to the public.
