Clear your lunch hour April 18th to join us at the Kittitas County Historical Museum for this month?s Third Friday Lunch and Lecture Event! Charles Hansen, a retired Deputy Fire Marshal from the Tacoma Fire Department, will be sharing his findings on the Great Ellensburgh Fire of 1889. His work as an Adjunct Instructor at the National Fire Academy of Emmittsburg, MD and his investigations of hundreds of fires as lead investigator, provide a unique perspective on this historic event. Was the Great Ellensburgh Fire something more than an unfortunate accident? Many historians differ in opinion. Come April 18th, noon to 12:45 pm, to hear Charles Hansen present convincing evidence on the fire?s true cause.
