CTE opens their season with the Tony-Award-winning off-beat musical, Urinetown, a gleefully perverse satire on ecological, economic, political, and social disaster. This wickedly humorous cautionary tale of the near future explores what our world might be like in the wake of a 20-year drought, where corporations monopolize the water supply and citizens must pay for the right to use the toilet! Audiences should be aware that this play fittingly contains potty humor.
