Thomas KIng ''Writing and the World: A Wasted Evening with Thomas King''
CWU brings Canadian author Thomas King to Ellensburg as part of the Lion Rock Visiting Writer Series and the Performing Arts and Presidential Speaker Series. King has spent most of his career focusing on the social issues of Native Canadian Indians. He has used his half-Greek, half-Cherokee background as a vehicle for creating social dialog on issues such as stereotypes, economics, and culture. King worked as a writer, photojournalist, radio host, professor, and politician. While the event is free, tickets are still required and are available at http://www.cwu.edu/~wildcattickets
