The Kittitas County Historical Museum will be hosting two guided tours of the upstairs portions of several historic buildings in downtown Ellensburg on Saturday, November 29th, 2008. The morning tour will begin at 9:30 am and end at 11:30 am, while the afternoon tour will run from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Register today at the Museum for one?or both?of the tours for only $10.00 per person! Milton Wagy of the Ellensburg Public Library will guide us through the buildings of the afternoon tour, including the New York Caf�©, Children?s Museum, Geddis Building, Elmira Building, and I.O.O.F. (Independent Order of Odd Fellows). As an historian, Mr. Wagy has many insightful stories to share about the history of these buildings and the businesses and organizations that once operated within them.

The Kittitas County Historical Museum is located at 114 East Third Avenue in the historic Cadwell Building. Hours are: Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and open until 7:00 pm on the first Friday of every month.
