Washington Fly Tying Expo and Annual Meeting
Featuring 100 of the finest fly tiers in the Northwest! If you love to fish than you won’t want to miss this inaugural event on Saturday, April 21st. There will be four 2-hour tying sessions starting at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm. The tiers will feature a variety of fly patterns from complex full dress Atlantic Salmon flies to presentation flies, to fishing flies. There will be at least 53 tiers equaling 94 + tying sessions. There will also be a number of raffles and silent auctions during both the day and evening.
The Annual Meeting will start with a reception and a no host bar followed by a buffet dinner of London Broil and Salmon Fillet (reservations required) and a brief business meeting. The evening event will include speaker 1st Lt. Eivind Forseth: A participant in Project Healing Waters at Walter Reed Hospital in washington DC, Lt. Forseth was injured in Iraq and is currently coordinator for Project Healing Waters. PHW teaches wounded service members fly fishing and fly tying as emotional, occupational and physical therapy. Lt. Forseth delivered the keynote address at the FFF 2006 Conclave in Bozeman, Montana.

WSCFFF Annual Meeting & Dinner: Ellensburg Inn: 6pm; $30. Dinner must be reserved and tickets purchased by April 14th.
