The 42nd Annual Western Art National Art Show & Auction!


Quick Draws | Friday (free) & Saturday (ticketed event)

These events please the crowd with a chance to watch a variety of artists produce works of art from start to finish—in only and hour! Then, the quick draw event is immediately followed by an auction of that same artwork.

Demonstrations | Friday & Saturday (Saturday night auction is a ticketed event)
Artists are selected to work on a piece of art in their booth during the day. The artwork is sold at auction in the evening.

Artist Booths | All weekend

From the gates opening to the public on Friday, to the close of the event on Sunday afternoon, you’ll be able to wander 14,000 sq/ft of exhibit space featuring artist from around the country. You’ll have the opportunity to speak to many of the artists themselves, and purchase their work.

Student Art Exhibit

Aspiring young artists were selected as finalists from the schools of Kittitas County, K-12, and now it is up to our visitors to select the “Peoples Choice Award for Student Art”.  Please view the students work in the “Naneum Room”, located next to the Sunday auction preview room. First, second and third places will receive cash prizes.  The student art project is sponsored by Complete Computer Services of Ellensburg, Bar 14 Ranch House Restaurant, and the Estate of William Grueter


The Auctions

Friday Night Auction |  Free Event
Directly following the Quick Draw event, the artwork produced during the quick draw and Friday’s demonstration artists will auction their work to the crowd.

Saturday Night Auction | Ticketed Event

As in past years, the Saturday night auction is the highlight of the weekend. Original works of fine art, representing both beloved artists, and hot new talents on the rise, are up for grabs at this great event. 

Sunday Auction | Free Event

Join us for another great live auction of miniature 
original artworks.  “Miniature” confines a painting to 108 sq. inches. Great for collectors who are “running out of room” or the person new to collecting.
