The Kittitas County Historical Museum is proud to present its Fifth Annual ''Who Wants to be a Pioneer?'' event at the Historic Cadwell Building in downtown Ellensburg. This is a fun and educational event for the whole family where KCHM transports visitors back to the good ole' days. It uses fun, hands-on activities to teach people of all ages about how the first pioneers and their children lived off the land. Activities include candle making, flower pressing, butter churning, ice cream making and various live demonstrations and other historically valuable trades used by the pioneers.
