Wild Horse WInd Farm Auction & Dinner

The Kittitas County Historical Museum is pleased to announce its annual fundraiser will be held on Saturday, July 18th, 2009 at 6:00pm at the Wild Horse Wind Farm Interpretive Center. Dinner is being catered by ?Occasions with Kelly? and will feature a salad and pasta bar with several sauces to choose from. A variety of items will be up for auction throughout the event, from locally produced works of art to food products & baked goods. Some highlights of the auction include: drawings and paintings by local artists from the Colorworks Art Club; limited edition photographs of historic Kittitas County buildings; ?A Day at the Farm? with Bill Gerrits, featuring fishing in the pond, gathering eggs, feeding the chickens, and picking produce; hand-made jewelry; books by local authors; fresh produce; home-baked cookies and much more! Tickets to the event are available for $25.00 each and may be purchased at the Kittitas County Historical Museum at 114 East Third Avenue, Ellensburg, Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Funds generated through ticket sales and auction proceeds will be used to help conserve the Museum?s collections and to support ongoing programs and exhibits.
