Women's Health Forum
Local medical professionals who specialize in women’s health will come together for a discussion panel at Hal Holmes Center on October 18 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. In recognition of October as breast cancer awareness month, the panel will address common questions related to mammography and breast health screening. However, all questions related to women’s health will be welcome.
Panelists will include Dr. Vicki Macy, Teresa Beckett, ARNP, PA-C, and certified nurse midwife Tina Fought of KVH Women’s Health; Dr. John Sand of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Ellensburg; and Dr. Ginger Longo of CWU Student Medical and Counseling Clinic. These local healthcare providers specialize in women’s health, gynecology, and obstetrics.
Attendees will have an opportunity to meet local women’s health providers and ask general questions related to women’s health. The first 50 attendees will receive a small gift bag and all attendees may enter to win a $100 gift certificate to a local spa and salon. Light refreshments will be provided.
Questions about women’s health will be taken during the event or they may be submitted in advance by emailing questions@kvhealthcare.org. The answers provided by the panel are for general information only. Specific questions about an individual’s personal health should be directed to their healthcare provider.
