Open Door Health Clinic is seeking applicants to fill the Executive Director position.  This position is expected to work 20 hours per week.  Qualifications:   
We prefer applicants who have at least 3-4 years of experience in a related field or a bachelor’s degree.  However, it is essential that applicants can access reliable transportation, are self-sufficient, detail-oriented, possess excellent communication and social skills, but most importantly are trustworthy and reliable.  In addition, applicants should have a strong understanding of the business, medical, public health and non-profit sectors.  

 Responsibilities:  
Act as a resource to clients, volunteers, staff and the Board of Directors including submitting monthly reports and attending multiple meetings each month.

  • Manage budgets set by the Board of Directors. 
  • Develop and implement program evaluation tools and processes.
  • Manage clinic operations (about 4 per month)
  • Create a positive, inviting, social, and safe environment at clinics and clinic events. This may include patient intake, patient record keeping, and medical provider support. Must be able to attend all clinic days or provide coverage when unable to attend.
  • Supervise and train volunteers.
  • Guide clients and volunteers through the ever-changing network of community services.
  • Maintain clinic communications and public relations through phone, mail, email, social media as well as attend partner events and represent the ODHC with other organizations and agencies. 
  • Produce advertising for clinic both in person (rack cards, flyers, etc) and social media. 
  • Manage an office space and maintain administrative responsibilities such as data entry and scheduling.
  • Initiate and assist with grant writing, fund-raising, event and program implementation. This position will serve on the Fundraising Committee.
 Requirements:  
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
 Benefits & Compensation:
  • There are no health benefits with this position 
  • Pay is $17-20 per hour, depending on experience
