Make Music Day
Ellensburg, WA. The Downtown Ellensburg Association introduces the 2nd Annual celebration of International Music Day (Fete de la Musique) on Wednesday, June 21st from 4-8pm. International Music Day is the one day a year when people around the world celebrate the importance of music through FREE, open and inclusive events worldwide. International Music Day is celebrated in over 450 cities and 100 countries when musicians of all ages and skill levels take to the streets, sidewalks, restaurants, and parks to play. Entire communities come out to listen, dance, and join in making music.
Ellensburg, musicians are taking to the streets, playing in several outdoor stages and indoor venues. Register to play at: https://www.ellensburgdowntown.org/events/ellensburg-make-music-day-2 by Friday, June 2nd.
Who can participate?
-OPEN MIC FOR ALL AGES AND SKILL LEVEL- Musicians will have 15 minutes to perform. Sign-ups start at 3pm at Old Skool’s located at 308 N. Main Street. Mixer, small PA and Microphone are provided. Enter through the main entrance, stage is located in the back of the store.

- The Musician Play Schedule will be posted on June 10th at EllensburgDowntown.org, on our social media @EllensburgDowntown and available the day of the event at Rotary Pavilion and at participating venues.
- CALLING ALL MUSIC FANS TO THE LOUIE LOUIE FLASH MOB!! Everyone is invited to the All-Instrument Flash Mob at Rotary Pavilion at 6:30pm to perform Louie, Louie. Join in the fun – bring your instruments and let’s play! This is an all play, kazoos provided.
