CWU Celebrates MLK Jr.: Hosts Make a Difference Day
Students from Lincoln and Mount Stuart Elementary schools will learn about Martin Luther King Jr. by writing about leadership, role playing various civil rights situations and making signs that the students will take back to their schools and spread MLK Jr.'s message of peace. Activities and events have been organized by the Martin Luther King Jr. Committee and sponsored by CWU Africana & Black Studies, CWU Students for the Dream, CWU Black Student Union, CWU E.M.P.I.R.E., CWU Center for Leadership and Community Engagement and the CWU Center for Diversity and Social Justice.
